Nike: This Is Your Final Wake Up Call

I found a cool campaign at Creativity Online, for Nike and the Latin American marked.

Complacency has set in in Latin American football. Arrogance in their ability overtook the necessity to train. It is time to remind the future stars of tomorrow, that skill alone is not enough. It is time to remind them of the grit and dedication that’s needed to make it to the top. This is their Final Wake Up Call.

I liked the art direction on the posters and print material quite good, but I’m more uncertain when it comes to the movie. The intro is good, but then, when they start slapping the face – I don’t know, it kind of ruins the concept for me. Turns the whole scent of the movie over from this grunge, cool groove, to a bad – bollywoodlike style combined with some lame facial expressions… I’ll give them a 6+ out of 10. But this could have been much better.

You can see the campaign here: NIKE WAKE UP CALL

What do you think? Is there more here than meets the eye? Do you disagree?
