Hi Arnt,

I've had an avatar all ready since the day I joined Twitter, but it refuses to let me upload it! :( Twitter's been having some glitch regarding display pictures which it hasn't got fixed yet...many new people have not been able to upload display pictures, and some old members have not been able to change theirs. I've been retrying periodically and keep tweeting about how fed up I'm getting :D Ever since my first blogging days (Livejournal) I used to spend hours on my icons and userpics, so being stuck with the o_O is extremely annoying for me. I spent some time last night trying to make a background incorporating a picture, which I'll try and upload now. :) I totally agree with what you're saying, because I know how much effort we LJ-ers used to put into our icons! We had a seperate one for everything :D

haha a window into your soul, i love it! so you mean i shouldn't upload a big logo hmm?

definitely think the avatar is an important piece of who you are online, it's the only (or closest) visual representation of who you are online.
